The Challenge

Sanchayaa, a premium women's clothing brand, needed a digital platform that matched the elegance of their physically curated collections. Their existing site was struggling to retain users on mobile, with a checkout process that felt cumbersome and non-responsive.

The challenge was to build a mobile-first e-commerce experience that felt like a native app within the browser. I needed to ensure that high-quality fashion imagery didn't compromise performance, and that the navigation remained intuitive regardless of the device screen size.

The Solution

I architected a highly responsive web application using Next.js and a modular component system. My solution focused on touch-optimized navigation, using gesture-like interactions for product carousels and filter menus to achieve that "app-like" feel on mobile browsers.

I implemented aggressive performance optimizations, including image laziness and edge-cached data fetching, ensuring that the heavy fashion catalog loaded instantly even on slower mobile connections.
